Throughout these years, we have evolved to adapt to the lifestyle of our customers. That’s why, in addition to preserving the tradition of German sausages and gourmet burgers, you can now also find healthier options such as bowls or salads on our menu. <\/span><\/p>\n

For us, caring for the environment, sustainability, and inclusion<\/strong> are of great importance. <\/span><\/p>\n

We ensure that all the ingredients we use are of the highest quality and that our dishes are well-balanced.<\/strong> Thanks to our own garden<\/strong>, we obtain locally sourced vegetables to supply our dishes. Frankfurt<\/h5>
In 1975, Pitu Perramon, along with two other friends and members of his handball team, decided to open the first German sausage shop in Alicante. Up until that point, nothing like it had been seen before. They drew inspiration from the establishments in Barcelona, and for a generation, it became the meeting place.

If we had to define the beginnings of the Frankfurt, it would be the atmosphere, the music, and a gastronomic approach completely different from the usual. <\/div>\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t

In 2005, inspired by a trip to New York, we decided to give a twist to the old Frankfurt. And that's how TriBeCa was born. With New York vibes, highly decorated, and drawing inspiration from old-school tattoos.

The New Tribeca<\/h5>
After more than 45 years, we felt the need to evolve and adapt to a more modern restaurant model that aligns with the image of the rest of the restaurants in our group. We still maintain the essence and tradition of what we did and how we did it. Adding new doses of sustainability and a sensitivity towards healthier gastronomy.

Our burgers, made with 100% freshly ground beef, and our tasty sandwiches are now accompanied by dishes such as fried sweet potatoes, a trio of hummus, or mortar-made guacamole...

We carefully select the ingredients for our products, always prioritizing quality, sustainability, and local sourcing. <\/span><\/p>\n

Terram\u00f3n, our vegetable garden<\/b><\/h3>\n

In 2020, we put Terram\u00f3n Farm<\/strong><\/span><\/a> into production, a 15,000 m2 estate in Mutxamel from where most of the vegetables we use in our kitchen come from.<\/p>\n

The farm follows biodynamic and permaculture principles, without the use of any chemicals, transforming previously abandoned and compacted land into a fertile horticultural and fruit-growing space. The warm temperatures in Alicante, efficient water usage, and organic matter have allowed us to achieve delicious results that we proudly serve on our tables.<\/p>\n

Meat<\/b><\/h3>\n

Our meats are organic, and some of them have Protected Geographical Indication. When they arrive in our kitchen, we take care of grinding and selecting the best cuts for our burgers and sandwiches. <\/span><\/p>\n

Bread, our daily bread.<\/b><\/h3>\n

Every day, we set the Pan San Rom\u00e1n Bakery in motion, which supplies Tribeca and the other restaurants in the Gourmet group with artisanal bread and pastries made with high-quality ingredients. <\/span><\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 San Rom\u00e1n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 San Rom\u00e1n was born in Valladolid, but she arrived in Alicante at a very young age during her childhood. Here, she began her career in law but later abandoned it to dedicate her life to the kitchen, where she found her calling. <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 is an energetic woman, full of curiosity, and always in constant evolution. She started by reading everything about cooking in foreign publications and worked hand in hand with Michelin-starred chefs like Joan Roca from El Celler de Can Roca. <\/span><\/p>\n

As a faithful ambassador of Mediterranean cuisine and the traditional flavors of rice and saffron, she travels the world showcasing the best of our land, as well as in the restaurants of the Gourmet Group. Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 dedicates a significant part of her time to research on classic ingredients of our gastronomy, such as saffron,<\/b> rice, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil, of which she is an international ambassador<\/span>.<\/b> <\/p>\n

Her principles are clearly visible in every restaurant and in every action she decides to participate in<\/b>. Additionally, she is the president of Mujeres en Gastronom\u00eda<\/a> (Women in Gastronomy), an association that seeks to provide more visibility to women in the hospitality industry.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The Maria Jose San Roman Group was founded in 1975 with the creation of Frankfurt, now known as Tribeca. Since that date, our passion for gastronomy has been growing along with our experience. <\/span><\/p>\n

After the success of Tribeca, four years later, the idea of Taberna del Gourmet emerged. It became a meeting place centered around a classic bar, where people could enjoy fresh products, gastronomic classics, and the best seafood. <\/span><\/p>\n

By the mid-1990s, we decided to go all-in with Monastrell. First at Playa Muchavista, where later our grill restaurant La Vaquer\u00eda would be located, and then in the center of Alicante. <\/span><\/p>\n

In recent years, in addition to our restaurants, you can also find Tribeca and Taberna del Gourmet corners at El Corte Ingl\u00e9s in Federico Soto (Alicante). <\/span><\/p>\n
